Martha’s Lace Centerpieces
I adore this idea I came across on Martha Stewart’s website. What a delightful idea for those lace lovers out there to incorporate the fabric on centerpieces. It’s a great way to dress up your votives and would definitely cut costs off of your florist bill. Lace covered candle vases make a gorgeous spread on tabletops as well as being a budget friendly alternative to more elaborate floral arrangements. Cylindrical glass candle holders in various sizea would cast that perfect glow illuminating an evening reception with a romantic ambiance. I’m already dreaming up possibilities to incorporate lace votives in my own decor. How do you like this idea?

I love this idea as well! I saw this picture last year and had been planning on doing it, but affixing the lace to the glass is a much harder task than I had thought! If you find a simple solution let me know!

Julia - if you haven’t already, you might want to try fabric glue. There’s a really good brand called E6000. It has industrial strength and adheres to glass. Good Luck!
